Para chloro benzyl cyanide, also known as 4-chlorobenzyl cyanide or (4-chlorophenyl)acetonitrile, is a toxic, aromatic organic compound used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and insecticides. It is a colorless to light yellow liquid or solid  and a molecular weight of approximately 151.59 g/mol.
